P2pool vs triple mining

Making less with p2pool because the bitcoin client crashes often. Will be looking into bitcoind that I keep hearing about.
I need to install linux. Making a custom build right now for bitcoin.
Once everything is up and running I need to learn about merged mining with name coin.  Feel free to leave a comment about merged mining with p2pool cgminer
